Kodansha Ltd. (株式会社講談社 Kabushiki-gaisha Kōdansha) is Japan's largest publisher. They produce many manga magazines, such as Nakayoshi, Afternoon, Evening, and Weekly Shonen Magazine. The company has its headquarters in Bunkyō, Tokyo. The Noma family—relatives of the founder—continues to own Kodansha.
They also publish the following shōjo magazines, Nakayoshi, Bessatsu Friend, Aria, and Dessert. They also publish two josei magazines, Be Love and Kiss.
